Nagaland – The Land Of Festival

Nagaland is the land of joy, beauty, dance, hills, delicious food, cultural activity, pleasant weather, and many more. The land the festival is the most famous among Indians and foreigners is the Hornbill festival. The diversity of tribes and people is with their own culture, heritage, and tradition. There are approximately 15 tribes community that celebrates their own community festivals according to their tradition as per the rules and regulations throughout the year according to dates and month of celebration. Nagaland is situated in the northeast part of India with the most loved hill station in India.

Nagaland is also known for its beauty and bounty with a variety of flora. India is a country of celebration in every corner every month there is a sound of joy you can hear easily. There are many sightseeing in the kohima for the visitors such as a museum, zoo, valley, sanctuary, self-governing village, and many more. Apart from the kohima, you can visit Mokokchung, Dimapur, Tuensang, Mon, Phek, Touphema village, Khonoma village, Naga heritage festival, Hornbill festival, Pfutsero, and other places too.

How To Reach?

There are all three transport services available to visit Nagaland that you can start after the sightseeing golden triangle tour to India that includes Jaipur, Agra, and Delhi.

By Road: There are buses available by both government and private which ply between Dimapur and Kohima.

By Air: The nearest domestic airport is Dimapur airport which is roughly around 74km from Kohima.

By Train: The nearest railway station is located in Dimapur which covers the exact distance that is same from the airport.
