I'd do the same if I planned to buy another gen console

As someone who always played NBA 2K21 MT sports games on a console before I built a gaming rig this season. I'm going back to the console version. That's said, the participant base is tiny and filled with cheaters which murdered online for me personally. Does not really matter about the how great a NBA 2K21 game appears to me if the player base is terrible and you dig online. Can give PC a shot again if they straighten things out.

As someone who constantly played sports games on a console before I built a gaming rig this year. I am going back into the version. 2k20 looks great on my 4k tv with all the settings maxed out and runs just like a dream. That's said, the participant base is miniature and filled with cheaters which murdered online for me personally. Doesn't really matter about the how great a NBA 2K21 game appears to me if the participant base is awful and you dig online. Would give a shot to PC if things straighten out.

I'd do the same if I planned to buy another gen console, but motivating myself to purchase an 600-700$ NBA2k machine really is difficult for me when I doubt I will be playing alot of different games around the Console. I can use that money to put into a 3080 graphics card for my PC instead. Only games I miss from the Console marketplace having an PC gamer is really much UFC & NHL, the rest dont really interest me at all. The cheating problem is bad on PC, but I notice it in actuall game, I really do notice it with maxed out players hard. And also the playerbase, I have never had problems with getting games at the playground, the Rec is fairly slow to get matchups in tough.

It's because it is not a port over, it is a different game, and they have designed that match specifically for consoles. The PS5 specifically can do things your PC or my PC simply can't do, so you cannot simply"port it over". In addition to this, the PC community is TINY compared to the rest, so it would cost a bunch of additional money in development and they'd get little return on that investment. Uh, what exactly can an PS5 do an PC cant perform?

"Its another game" but the console gamers get it for free if they buy the regular version of NBA2k21 right? Or do console gamers have to get it twice? The PC community is larger then folks think imo, they'd earn money out of porting the next gen version for certain, also they'd make their PC playerbase happy, even though they just break even. The PC version has experienced an avarage of all 20k+ concurrent players for the past six months, that is pretty damn good for an niche sports PC game. That isn't bad, and I think they will loose earnings on the normal NBA2k21 PC port since there's not any second gen on PC, so why even bother porting NBA2k21 at all to PC then.

Imo they ought to have cancelled the normal NBA2k21 port, and just went with the following gen into PC straight away. That would have made much more sense then the other way round imo. There are a number of thing which the PS5 can do that a PC cannot, since they made hardware especially for it that is not available on any PC. It can load it is 16 GB of RAM instantly, which a PC simply cannot do. Go look Buy 2K MT up, there are plenty of posts relating to this.
